Peak Finder is an app that will help you find peaks, hiking trails and record your climbs or hikes and create plans.

Peak Finder offers a very intuitive interaction, you can add your climbs or hikes manually or let the app retrieve data from your GPX file of your activity.

Peak Finder runs a location monitor in the background (can be turned off) that automatically updates the peaks region offline so you can have your offline map ready at any time.

The background monitor also adaptively checks for peaks (shorter intervals when you're in a mountain area), so you get your peaks even if you're not recording an activity.

Peak Finder offers a feature called Eagle Eye that (if enabled) sends you an update on your location when you're in the mountains.

In the Eagle Eye activity you will be able to see where in the mountains your friends are currently hiking or were hiking.
