Callbreak Game

Call break or calbreak is a simple card game for 4 players (ताश गेम)

Callbreak (also called Calbreak), Lakdi is a famous and classic card game popular in India and Nepal.

Callbreak is played with a standard 52-card deck between 4 players. After bidding each player has to make a "Call" or "Bid" for the number of hands he/she can capture, and the objective is to capture at least that number of hands in the round and try to break the other player, or that is, prevent them from receiving your Call. After each round, points will be calculated and, Dragon VS Tiger after five rounds of play, each player will add five points as a point total and the player with the highest point total will win.

Deal & Call

There will be five rounds of play or five deals in a game. The first dealer will be chosen at random and, after that, the turn to deal rotates clockwise from the first dealer. The dealer will deal all 52 cards to four players, i.e. 13 each. After each bid is completed, the player left to the bidder will make a call - which is a number of hands (or tricks) he/she thinks he/she is likely to capture, and the call moves clockwise again to the next player until all 4 players finish calling.

Call

All four players, starting from the player to the right of the dealer, call out the number of tricks they must win in that round to get a positive score, otherwise they will get a negative score.

To play

After each player completes his call, the player next to the bidder will make the first move, this first player can play any card, the suit thrown by this player will be the guide suit and each player after him/her must follow the highest rank of the same suit, if they do not have the same highest ranking suit, then they must follow with any card of this lead suit, if they do not have this suit, then they must break this suit by the trump card (which is the Sword of any rating), if they don't have sword too, then they can play any other card. The highest ranking card of the guide suit will capture the hand, but if the guide suit was broken by spades, then in this case the highest ranked spade card will capture the hand. The winner of one hand goes to the next hand. In this way, the round continues until the completion of 13 hands and after that the next deal will begin.

Punctuation

The player who takes at least as many tricks as his bid receives a score equal to his bid. Over Tricks are worth an extra 0.1 times a point each. If the declared bid cannot be obtained, the score will be deducted equal to the declared bid. After 4 rounds are completed, scores are added together to help players set a goal for the final round. After the final round, the winner and runner-up of the game are declared.
